About SoftBump
SoftBump is a small, independent website that helps you work out where you are in your pregnancy. Every tool — due date, current week, ovulation window, trimester calculator — runs instantly in your browser and gives you clean, plain-language answers.
Why we built it
Most pregnancy sites bury a simple calculation inside heavy pages full of pop-ups, newsletter overlays and autoplay video. When you're anxious, tired or just curious, that's the last thing you need. We wanted the opposite: a calm, quiet page that answers your question in a second and lets you get on with your day.
No accounts. No email. No popups.
You'll never be asked to sign up for anything on SoftBump. There are no accounts, no "enter your email to see your results" walls, no push-notification prompts and no exit-intent modals. The dates you enter never leave your browser — the maths runs locally, right on your device.
The site is funded by a small number of respectful adverts, shown only if you accept our cookie banner. If you reject it, SoftBump still works exactly the same.
Who writes the content
Week-by-week notes and calculator explainers are written by the SoftBump team in a gentle, general tone. We check dates and formulas against published clinical sources such as the Robinson–Fleming ultrasound dating rule and standard 280-day LMP dating. SoftBump is not written by a clinician and is not a substitute for medical care — see our medical disclaimer.
